    I'm 40 and just had my 2nd hip replacement. All these videos that u show are normal people non-operated. If a person does it with pain, it's not so easy, so pls next time, if u want to make videos, make it with people that have pain to show the real way with pain.

    I never put salt in anything. And I have always gotten compliments from. Medical professionals about my blood pressure. You get enough salt in natural foods you don't have to add any salt in your diet I never cooked with salt and don't add it to my food. I don't eat prossed fod or delly meats. And zi have been doing this from the late 80s. I remember my grandfather could not have salt and I thought to my self as a youn man if it's bad for him I should not eat in myself so I don't. YOU DONT NEED TO ADD SALT YOU GET IT FROM YOUR FOOD AND THE SALT THAT IS NATUALY IN AND ANIMALS MEAT.

    BAD INFORMATION INT THE BLURB OF THIS TOP googlle HIT. FYI, the narration in the blurb transcribed by Google reads "You may lie on the operated side" which ignore the first part of the sentence "After six weeks". AI means Automatic Idiocy.

  • @spotsandstripes2
    @spotsandstripes2 2 месяца назад

    To all those saying it’s wrong to sleep lying on operated hip. The reason that it is better is because the hip is held in its socket if you’re lying on it. If your lying with the bad hip up and you move that leg in front or behind you it creates unsupported torsion on the joint which can dislocate it.

      I get what you are saying. But, this is my 2nd hip replacement. Right hip done in June of last year. Left hip done May 25 of this year. To lay on the operated side is extremely painful and I was advised not to do it by my Orthopedic surgeon til I felt comfortable without pain. For the right side it was at about 6wks with minimal pain. Even "floating " my operated hip on pillows was extremely painful. Just my opinion as an experienced hip replacement patient.

    After all these years, surfing on RUclips just for the sheer fun of it, I have finally found a useful video when in desperate need. I appreciate the existence of this sort of videos on the internet. Honestly, I wasn't certain that applying pressure on a tissue of meat would ease the pain at all, but IT DID! I started to feel pain in my stomach and then I had nausea. The pain and the urge to vomit was so much that I couldn't go out to see a doctor. This video indeed, did me a world to feel relieved. * I also recommend taking a B6 pill to cease nausea.

    Me and my older sister were born through c-sections. While my sister was delivered by means of an emergency c-section, I was born by a scheduled c-section - and my mom picked which day I was born - and that was six days after her birthday on July 10th! After my older sister was born, my poor mother had gotten a staph infection.

    Brilliant. Thank you. I totally was looking for someone to dissect the issues of long covid and expectations. Certainly trying to work with all the symptoms. Love the “cytokine storm” comment. As this is something i experience episodically and don’t fully understand by chemistry. It is also making me think about my own treatment and how anti-histamines may help as one medication to tackle inflammation and skin breakouts.

    So relieved to see a recent video about this! The big push in pregnancy education around obesity seems to have happened 2000-2015 mainly, but with the rise in the radical Healthy At Every Size movement, women are being told nothing about this. I had to present on this when I was obese & had been during my pregnancy - it was rough but worth it to have an honest conversation.

    My labour was nothing like this. My contractions were initially every 3 - 5 minutes and excrutiating, the hospital ignored my cries for pain relief and sent me home with cocodamol, these and the tens machine did nothing and I was climbing the walls with contractions 3 mins apart and lasting a minute, I spent 20 hours in complete agony and have ptsd as a result. If youre a first time mum, youll have to fight your corner and demand adequate pain relief right off the bat, if they ignore you.. threaten to sue them.

    I used to live near the hospital, but emigrated many years ago. On one visit home more than 20 years ago, I tried to get permission to access the clock tower walkway to video film the 360 degree view, unfortunately it was a rather cumbersome process and I ran out of time, heading back overseas before I could gain access. I searched online but can find no footage of the views as you walk around that tower and find it such a shame, given the unique location and panorama that it affords of that corner of Bristol and the surrounding countryside. Perhaps some enthusiastic soul who either works at the hospital or shares my interest, could try to create and publicise a short video, I'm sure I am not the only one who would very much enjoy seeing it. Pleased to see the investment that has gone into the hospital, it looks like a wonderful facility for the locale, well done to those responsible and those providing the valuable services there.
